Current available listings in Sapphire Valley represent some of the best values on the Highlands Cashiers plateau. Sapphire Valley has many neighborhoods that make up the resort community and each one is unique and has something different to offer. By far, the largest neighborhood in Sapphire Valley is Holly Forest. Holly Forest includes 15 different sections or units. Some are very large, Holly Forest unit 1 for example as has about 200 lots. Some are small, Holly Forest 15 has only 2 lots. Holly Forest unit 14 and 15 are commonly known as Eagle Ridge. These lots are unique because they are generally smaller and have access to the public sewer system. Because Eagle Ridge is a ridge, there are some fantastic views facing both east and west, some of the most amazing sunset views I've seen are from the west facing condos up on Eagle Ridge. Home prices in Holly Forest run from about $100k to over $600k.

One of the other larger neighborhoods in Sapphire Valley is Whisper Lake. Whisper Lake has it's own lake for use by residents who live in the neighborhood. You don't have to live on the lake to use the lake, they have a very nice community park with a dock and storage for private canoes. Like the other lakes in Sapphire Valley, no gasoline powered boats are allowed. Only people powered boats or an electric trolling motor on a john boat or canoe is ok also. Whisper Lake price points are similar to Holly Forest and there are some nice views to be had here also. As you would imagine, homes located on the lake bring a premium with mountain view homes priced below those.

There are a few other smaller neighborhoods located in Sapphire Valley, Deer Run is one  of those. Deer Run is a gated community close to the amenities area and Lake Fairfield. Deer Run has about 60 lots, like Eagle Ridge, most of these lots are smaller in size but have access to the public sewer system which is not terribly common in this area.
