CASHIERS COMMUNITIES

Big Sheepcliff  Straddling the Eastern Continental Divide of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this planned residential community is only a few minutes drive to the restaurants and shops of downtown Cashiers. Situated on a mountain of the same name, Big Sheepcliff presents spectacular views, large lots, and an abundance of privacy. The home sites have been positioned around a cliff with a granite dome and ridge to provide the ultimate in mountaintop living. The granite dome contains a unique ecosystem that supports several globally endangered plant species. In recognition of this, the developer donated 52 acres of the property to the North Carolina Nature Conservancy so it would be preserved in its natural state. This dome is also a prominent feature of downtown Cashiers. It greets newcomers as they arrive and reminds residents they are home.

Cedar Creek Racquet Club  The Cedar Creek Racquet Club is a private, 200-member equity club that primarily features tennis. A few years after the Club was established, it was selected by U.S. Tennis Magazine as one of the ten most beautiful tennis clubs in America. Racquetball, fitness classes, bridge, and a summer children's program are also offered exclusively to the members. Dining and social events are held in an elegant former manor home built in the 1930's for a prominent southern family. This facility overlooks a swimming pool, six clay tennis courts, and Lake Lupton. Also bordering this pristine fishing lake, amid the surrounding mountains, are the residential communities of Cedar Creek Woods and Cedar Ridge Estates.
Cedar Hill  Only a few minutes from the center of Cashiers, this secured community affords convenience and privacy. Home sites can be wooded and enveloping or dramatic views can be found. A nature trail meander alongside streams and waterfalls. Amenities are available through membership in the prestigious Cedar Creek Raquet Club along with a tennis facility.

Cross Creek Preserve Featuring creeks, streams and waterfalls, mountain views and the valley below, Cross Creek is a 95+ acre community developed by families for families.  Homesites are nestled among the natural flora and fauna of the area.  Cross Creek Preserve offers a variety of settings for your mountain retreat.

High Meadows Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains amidst lush foliage and roaming waters lies High Meadows, a private estate community. This tranquil and splendid setting is home to magnificent views, meandering streams and gently rolling terrain.

Pinnacle Ridge Long-range and short-range mountain peaks as well as nighttime city lights as far away as Greenville, SC, create some of Cashiers' most sought after views. Pinnacle Ridge, perched atop a high mountain ridge, is a small gated community of home sites averaging more than three acres.  This architecturally restricted neighborhood with paved roads and underground utilities, is convenient to both Cashiers and Sapphire Valley.

Sims Valley Occurring only occasionally in mountain environments,” high valleys" have all the attributes of lush, flat bottomed valley environments rimmed by ridges or mountains. Their elevation is higher than typical mountain valleys and often they have long range vistas normally found in ridge or mountain top settings. Such is the case with Sims Valley, rimmed on three sides by ridges and Pilot Mountain, which exceeds 4,000', and offering terrific views from the highest and lowest elevations.

Spring Forest This private community is highlighted by vistas of the adjoining mountain ranges, and shaded by lush  forest.  Homes have been placed around the mountain to maximize the views while preserving the privacy of the homeowners. Each site, with a minimum of two acres, has ample space for a medium to large home and a generous amount of landscaping. This neighborhood is well-maintained and governed by a set of thoughtful restrictions that serve to protect property values. The Country Club of Sapphire Valley offers Spring Forest residents, subject to membership acceptance, all of the luxuries of a private club.

Zachary's Gap High above Sapphire Valley, at well over 4,000 feet, this breathtaking perspective of the Continental Divide is among the most spectacular in the Cashiers area. This exclusive gated architecturally restricted neighborhood contains nineteen estate-sized home sites, and a private well-stocked trout lake. A resident caretaker maintains the common grounds, and is also available to provide more personalized services for the homeowners.
